Graduate Student

Education

  • Ph.D. Biomedical Engineering, University of Michigan, 2007 (more info)
  • M.S.E Electrical Engineering, University of Michigan, 2005
  • M.S. Biomedical Enginering, University of Michigan 2004
  • B.S. Electrical Engineering with minor in Chemistry, Purdue University 2002

Research Interests

Nanotechnology has always fascinated me and I believe that it holds the key to creating powerful new tools for diagnosing and curing disease as well as rehabilitating injuries. I am currently investigating using a nanopore-based Coulter counter to perform unlabelled immunoassays and characterize assemblies of proteins and nanoparticles.
