Education
- Ph.D. Biomedical Engineering, University of Michigan, (candidate)
- M.S. Biomedical Engineering, University of Michigan, 2009
- B.S. Biomedical Engineering, University of Wisconsin, 2007
Research Interests
I am interested in the developing novel assays for the detection of membrane processes, membrane-protein interactions,
and protein-protein interactions. I am currently using nanopores to interoggate these interactions. I have a new
found interest in the biophysical characterization of these processes.
Personal Info
- Cycling, running, golf, water, anything that puts me in the sun.
- Favorite music: Movie soundtracks, Motioncity soundtrack, Cartel, Journey, Kenny Chesney
- Traveling and learning about wine.
- Favorite movie: almost every movie I see
- Teaching, learning new things, and photography
- Currently the webmaster for the Biomembrane lab
