Graduate Student

Education

  • Ph.D. Chemical Engineering, University of Michigan, (candidate)
  • B.S.E Chemical Engineering, University of Michigan, 2005

Research Interests

I have a wide range of research interests, but have always wanted to focus on medical technology. I am especially interested in enhancing the human immune system because it holds the key for battling all forms of disease, such as from infectious pathogens or auto-immune dysfunctions. Currently, I am working on engineering an artificial agent that mimics the functions of immune cells.

  • My favorite pastime is hanging out with my husband and son.
  • My favorite authors include Gregory Maguire, Anne Rice, Michael Crichton, and Mary Higgins Clark.
  • My favorite TV shows are Gilmore Girls and CSI.
