Marian Adamson

Graduate Student

Education

  • M.S. Biomedical Engineering, University of Michigan, in progress
  • B.S. Physics, Mathematics Minor, Brigham Young University, 2007

Research Interests

I am creating a Fluorescence Correlation Spectroscopy (FCS) system to study diffusion constants and chemical reactions on the single molecule level. Once the system is complete, I (and anyone else) will be able to study changes in fluidity and reactions in a lipid bilayer with greater sensitivity.

Personal Info

  • One of my greatest loves is dancing: ballet, swing, salsa, modern, ballroom, jazz…you name it!
  • I also enjoy camping, hiking, cooking, playing board games, and going to random free festivals.
  • I'm trying to learn Spanish.
  • I have a huge sweet-tooth!

Publications
