The 2007 Biophysical Society Annual Meeting
was held in Baltimore MD March 3-7. While the weather was not so great (unless you enjoy gale-force winds and snow),
the meeting was a resounding success. Sheereen Majd
received two platform talks detailing her most recent work with stamped arrays of supported lipid bilayers. The rest of
the lab presented posters that were very well received within the biophysics community. While the dance this year was not
as get-down funky as years past, it was held in the club level of Camden Yards and offered fantastic views of the baseball
stadium.
